The Ministry of Worship

What a joy it is to have the pleasure, privilege and responsibility of lifting the Name of our Lord.  We love to sing His praises! It is our desire to genuinely worship the Lord through the ministry of music and the arts.  As we gather together every Sunday, we desire to come with ready hearts to seek after and worship the Lord. We invite you to join us!

 

The Worship Choir / Teams / Band

Our choir and worship band and teams lead the way in heartfelt worship through a ministry committed to spiritual integrity, relevance and excellence. We prepare special songs, ensembles and other music developed from within the choir and band members who rehearse with us on a regular basis.  We offer opportunities for believers to serve the Lord with their God-given talents and acquired skills in the arts. Generally the choir rehearses and sings February through June and September through December.

 

Media

We have a creative God and believe in exploring and using every possible avenue of creative expression to bring glory to His Name and reach out with His love. From seasonal dramas, to skits that support Pastor’s messages, from video productions to graphic arts and other digital media, we believe the possibilities are endless!  We value the importance of tech-support though the practical ministries of sound, lighting and media, which are critical to every worship service and event we have.

 

Getting Involved

There are numerous areas of ministry where you can get involved. Whether it is in the choir on Sunday, working in the Media ministry with camera, lights and sound, or playing/singing on the worship team, there is a place for you. We would love to have you join us!  For more information, call Cari Brown directly at her desk in the church office at 343-2231. Or, just come to a Wednesday night choir rehearsal (Feb-June/Sept-Dec.) and meet us!

 

Rehearsals

 

Choir: Wednesdays 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Room J-1 (Feb-June/Sept-Dec)

            Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary/MCS Gym

 

Worship Teams/Band:  Wednesdays 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Room J-1

  Sunday mornings at 7:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary/MCS Gym
